Exchange 2007:  Get-ActiveSyncVirtualDirectory, Get-OabVirtualDirectory, Unable to create IIS Directory Entry.  Access is denied.
Currently I have a test network set up as: ExchangeMB1 - Exchange 2007 Mailbox Roles - Server 2003 x64 Exchange1 - Exchange 2007 Client and Hub Transport Roles installed - Server 2003 x64 PrimaryDC1 - Primary Domain Controller - Server 2003 x64 RootDC1 - Root Domain Controller - Server 2008 x64 Problem: After opening Exchange Management Console on Exchange1 and accessing the Server Configuration drop down I'm presented with these error messages: Get-ActiveSyncVirtualDirectory Error: Unable to create IIS Directory entry. Error message: Access is denied & Get-OabVirtualDirectory Error: Unable to create IIS Directory entry. Error message: Access is denied The User I'm using to access the EMC is the same user I used to install Exchange on both servers. I've also tried another suggestion which involved performing the following: http://exchangeshare.wordpress.com/2008/07/05/2147024891-access-is-denied-error-in-emc/ Sadly it did not help. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I found this article stating that Microsoft knows this is a problem with communication between server 2003 to server 2008? I just wanted to add this to maybe help solve my problem faster. The only update I've performed on the Exchange end would be what we have in our production environment as well, Exchange 2007 SP1 Cumulative update Rollup 9. Here is the article where someone is having a similar problem as mine, note though his setup is a tad different but the error messages are identical: http://it-proknowledge.blogspot.com/2008/07/error-2147024891-in-exchange-management.html
